Photograpy sessions are done at a location of your choice. It is recommended to choose an environment where people feel comfortable.  Photos taken outdoors where subjects can engage in an activity will yield the most favourable & natural images. There is no limit with the number of poses.  It is recommended to have the session be a natural as possible.  Various wardrobe changes are fine as long as time permits. Family portraits generally take about an hour, or more. Larger groups & young children may take longer.

 

All sessions include a CD/DVD with all high resolution image files & printing rights, thus you can develop the images at your own discretion. You may not, however, sell the images for commercial purposes.  The photographer owns the sole copyright to the photos, retains the right to use the images for portfolio, website or promotional material & credit to Germinate  must be noted for any online usage. 

 

Session rates are $100 per hour. There are no travel costs for bookings within the surrounding area of Collingwood Ontario. Locations more than 50 km from Collingwood are subject to travel charges of $1/km. For events located considerably far from Collingwood, all travel & accommodation costs must be covered by the client. A deposit is required upon booking a session. The remainder of the fee is due at the time of the session & is non-refundable.

 

Client’s have the option to purchase the copyright separately, meaning the client receives all the high resolution files & the photographer agrees not to use the images for their portfolio, website or any promotion. Commercial & promotional fees as well as the rate for the release of the full copyright to all images vary dependent on the individual case.

 

Fine art prints & custom prints & albums developed at a professional lab are also available.
