The intention is to create each individual component of each art piece by transforming natural, wildcrafted, local, organic, ethical, upcycled & vintage materials. Everything has a story; innumerable discarded or quiescent objects hold potential to have a new existence, to become something both beautiful & beneficial. Being fully immersed in the process is fundamental, from individually hand forging components, to sustainably & ethically gathering raw materials, to the restoration of elements, which are integrated in projects. A multidisciplinary approach to art evolved because of interest, skill development & resource conservation, as tools & remnants from one project, have capacity for future creation. Guided by the wisdom of traditional & folk herbalism, offerings are holistically handcrafted using whole plant preparations from local organically grown herbs, wild tended plants, responsibly foraged, ethically & sustainably sourced elements.
